Objective-Focused Wrestling Practice Plans

Wrestling practice works best when it’s focused. This post gives coaches five complete practice plan templates—each built around a specific goal like technique, conditioning, or mental toughness. Easy to follow, ready to customize.

Here are basic wrestling practice plans for each objective described in my previous post “What’s The Best Comprehensive Practice Plan for Wrestling?“. These follow the structured outline I provided in the post, allowing coaches to insert their own specifics while offering a reference example.

1. Technical Skill Development Practice Plan

Objective: Refine fundamental techniques with a focus on mechanics, positioning, and execution under pressure.
